The Helensburgh Writers’ Workshop has been running from1972 and welcomes all writers, regardless of experience through its doors. We are small group of twelve and our members write in different styles and genres which creates a fun and expressive environment and promotes the benefits of crafting and sharing creative work. We learn from each other by sharing ideas and experiment with all aspects of writing through our weekly workshops.

Recently our Chair has started a children’s writing group, which has proved to be very popular with the local budding authors, offering to share skills and creative ideas, building confidence while improving storytelling.
