About us...

We are a friendly Fife based writing charity who aim to provide support and encouragement for writers of all levels.

We hold events, open-mic evenings and workshops throughout the year and regularly take part in Book Week Scotland in November and facilitate the writing hours at the StAnza International Poetry Festival in March.

Members are able to join our monthly online writing support groups, which cover different genres. These peer led groups aim to help develop writing and encourage writers to gain confidence in sharing their work whether that is reading aloud within the group or at one of our open-mic evenings.

Our committee members are volunteers and live all over Fife so our in-person events can occur at various locations which have included Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Markinch, Cupar & St Andrews. Due to the geography of Fife we try to choose locations that are close to good public transport links.

You can subscribe to our mailing list or become a full member for only £12 a year.

If you have any questions please feel free to drop us an email.
